
Allen Hatton is a principal of Executive
Development Group, an executive coaching and consulting firm. He specializes in helping Business Owners and
Senior Executives solve problems, develop management strategies, and make better decisions while leading more
satisfying lives.
As both corporate and personal
coach, Hatton works with entrepreneurs as well as executives
of Fortune 500 companies who want to increase business results
in sales, productivity, employee retention and customer satisfaction.
Hatton is a successful entrepreneur with an extensive history of innovative brainstorming and
analytical problem solving. He has been involved in all aspects of business management for over 25 years and served as CEO for
companies in a broad variety of industries, including graphic arts, management consulting, import/export, and
construction.
Hatton’s career
shift from more traditional management to cutting-edge leadership,
executive and team coaching was a natural progression reflecting
his belief that times have changed and business must change
too. Executive Coaching not only impacts the company and the
bottom line, but also the individual’s personal life.
His clients include Marriott
International Inc., Choice Technologies, Shaw Industries,
Johns Hopkins Medicine, ATK Tactical Systems, Inc., Baltimore

He is a member of the International
Leadership Association, the International Coach Federation
and the Association for Corporate Growth. Hatton holds a Coaching
Certification from internationally acclaimed Coach University,
has completed the Harvard Business School e Learning Program
“Coaching for Results” and is a graduate of The
University of Baltimore.
Volunteering and community
service are life-long commitments for Hatton. He served as
a mentor to students for Family and Children Services of Central
Maryland and as interim Executive Director to the Bea Gaddy
Family Centers for homeless women and children. He sits on
the Board of the United Way Community Partnership of Howard
County. Hatton has completed basic training in the Alternatives
to Violence Project, a program aimed at helping to reduce
the recidivism rate of violent offenders in our maximum security
prisons. He also sits on the Leadership Advisory Council for
